From 2020 onwards we will carry out intensive and private weekends in the Canary Islands (Tenerife) aimed mainly at couples who already have experience in shibari. The possibilities of learning directly during two days, orienting the training exactly in the direction that is needed, allow to advance very quickly and to correct errors that through workshops or private lessons would require much more time.
What is a weekend intensive?
It is a weekend of private lessons specifically oriented to the needs of the students. Students will stay in the studio, fully equipped and ready to practice shibari/kinbaku, in a location in the middle of the nature of Tenerife. Transfer to and from the airport is included as well as all meals, breakfasts, dinners and accommodation on Friday and Saturday nights (extendable to Sunday night if necessary).
The recommended formula is to pick up students on Friday afternoon/evening at either of the island's two airports, and use the whole day on Saturday and Sunday morning for private lessons, practice, exercises, improving skills and correcting mistakes. Between 10 and 15 hours of private lessons depending on the difficulty of the exercises and the capacity of the students. The privacy is completely absolute and we can give the lessons in Spanish, English or Catalan.
The intensive weekend can also be oriented towards the workshop of photography and aesthetics in shibari with indoor and outdoor locations.
Students will be accommodated in the fully equipped shibari/kinbaku studio in a hidden location in the middle of the nature of Tenerife.
We only do an intensive weekend every two months and it has to be scheduled at least one month in advance. If you have not previously studied with us, we need a reference from your usual educator or documentation of your work. In very specific cases it is possible to do the weekend with two couples of a similar level at a slightly lower cost per couple. If you are interested, please contact us with a flexible proposal of dates through firstname.lastname@example.org or +34 651115095.
